  • Do you sell materials?

    No, we are roofing equipment specialists carrying contractors supplies and equipment only.

  • Can I run a walk welder on over 100 ft. of cord?

    Yes, but you must use a thicker gauge cord with a spider box to run over 100 ft. of cord, not to exceed 200 ft. in total.

  • Can I run a Leister and a screw gun on the same generator?

    No, the power surge that a screw gun takes pulls power away from the welding tool and could affect the performance of the welding tool or cause damage.

  • What size generator do I need to run a Varimat?

    You need at minimum a 10,000W generator to run just a Varimat.

  • Can I run a Leister on any generator?

    The Leister recommended generator is Winco due to minimal harmonic distortion. Please call us for more information regarding harmonic distortion and why it is important.

  • Is it safe to run my walk welder if I get an error message?

    No, running a tool after receiving an error message will only cause damage to the tool which will need to be repaired. The only time it would be safe to run a tool after receiving an error message is if that message is low voltage and you have corrected the problem before continuing. The most common reasons for a low voltage message are – Too small of a generator, too small gauge of extension/power cord, damaged extension/power cord, using more than 100ft extension/power cord without having a spider box in the middle. If you are unsure how to correct the problem, please call us before continuing to run the tool.

  • Can I run my Leister tools in the rain?

    It is not recommended. While Leister encloses the critical electronic components so that their tools can run under most conditions, they are not waterproof. The components inside a Leister tool will burn out when they come into contact with water.

  • Do you deliver?

    Yes, we can deliver to the Portland area, and we run weekly shuttles up to Tacoma, Seattle, and Everett. Depending on the item(s) being delivered and the location of the delivery there could be a small fee added.

  • Do you offer financing?

    We do not offer financing. We do offer NET 30 Terms to customers with approved credit. We can also direct you to a finance company who specialize in helping small businesses purchase the equipment needed to operate.

  • Do you rent equipment?
